This has been a strange week at G4: A lot of TheFeed's crew have been laid out by various nerd-related diseases, and everyone else is traveling, or just listless with post-PAX letdown disorder. We're all using the weekend to recharge our mental and physical batteries, mostly with the help of the Fab Four! Read on to see what your favorite G4 editors are playing. When you're done, leave a comment and let the G4 community know what you're playing this weekend.

Sterling McGarvey: I will spend this weekend the way I’ve spent the last few sleep-deprived evenings: Beatle-ing. Yeah, Guitar Hero 5 is probably the best in the series since Harmonix was working on the games, but GH5 also doesn’t have “I Am the Walrus,” which is both the trippiest background video and the most fun track to play on guitar so far. It doesn’t hurt that the PS3 version of The Beatles: Rock Band supports SingStar mics, so now I can host six people, and everyone can participate in the game. That’s a lot of players. That said, I’m really happy with what I’ve been playing, and as someone who grew up listening to other bands and artists, it’s a great introduction to Beatles songs that I might’ve missed over the years. And if that’s me, a guy in my early thirties, saying that, then I know there’s a lot of younger Rock Band players who are going to be exposed to some great songs. It’s a win-win situation.

Jake Gaskill: This weekend will be all about indie gaming for me, specifically the (sadly) under the radar title, The Beatles: Rock Band. Haven’t heard too much about it, but I’m always willing to give smaller games a chance. Plus, I’m also a fan of supporting up-and-coming bands, because after all, we all have to start somewhere.
In all honesty though, most of my time this weekend will be spent with Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition. I absolutely adored LBP, and I can’t wait to get back into the game in a serious way. I’m also excited to check out all of the new content as well as the user created levels that were selected to appear in the game, since I’m sure they’re a blast. And hopefully I’ll have enough time to fully realize my Bioshock-themed level. I’m pretty sure I have the schematics around here somewhere…

Patrick Klepek: My brain's in for a workout this weekend, as a boxed version of Scribblenauts showed up at my desk this week. I haven't spent more than a few minutes with Scribblenauts before this, but it's a game I've been anxiously awaiting. Of course, attempting to rush through puzzles isn't the easiest thing in the world… In any case, you'll have to wait until next week to hear how the finished product turned out, but any requests for objects I should test out in the game?

Stephen Johnson: I'd love to say I'm going to be playing some legendary, Japan-only, super-special Japanese RPG on the Dreamcast this weekend, but it's not true. Like the rest of the gaming world, I will be playing The Beatles: Rock Band. But I'm also going to compare it with Guitar Hero 5, just to get an idea of how the rival music games of the season stack up against each other.

What did I play this weekend?
F3, playing through as an evil character, trying to 100% the trophies.
Rockband I (trying to get five stars on all songs all levels 75% there.)
Dirt2 Demo...Apparently an exercise on how to take a great Euro feel racing franchise and dumb it down for mass audience appeal.
Wet Demo..Why does this game feel like
Mucky Foot's Urban Chaos? At any rate it's destined to be a bargain bin classic...and that's a good thing.
Pick it up when it hits $20, I think you'll like it.

I'l be playing... Oh would you look at that. The weekend is over.

SCRIBBLENAUTS IDEA: I had a scribblenauts idea for PATRICK to try: can you try to get gandi and give him a big ass laser rifle? If not, see if you could get Abe Lincoln to ride a giraffe. Hey, There's nothing in the Constitution about not having a former President ride giraffes!
Willis_Ax
The Sims 2, Warcraft 3, and Heroes of Newerth.

I played I am the warlus on the Beatles Rock band, and how is that the most fun song to play on guitar? It doesnt even have a guitar part that we play. we play a violin. Helter Skelter is prob the best. But youre entiteld to ur own opinion but it just seemed rather odd. But yeah it does have a trippy background. Ill be playing Beatles Rock band this weekend, and GTA4(my friend borrowed it for like 6 months). Not guitar hero 5 because of defacing kurt cobain

CALiiGeDDon
Madden 10, COD4, and maybe some gears 2 but gears 2 sucks so maybe not
Oinkness
GH5 is just a tad bit better. Beatles has some bad charting that makes it impossible to 100% certain harder songs on expert drums. And GH5 has double-bass. Can't go wrong with double bass. I make a setlist of Devil Wears Prada, In Flames, Darkest Hour, Children of Bodom, Coldplay, Unearth, Chimaira, and I just go to town baby, YEAH!
Killua_Zoldyck
I'll be finishing Professor Layton in anticipation of Mario and Luigi RPG 3!!! and of course Scribblenauts!!!
that1_guy
Im thinking a little bit of TMNT Turtles in time Re-shelled only because its the best remake ever! Other than that it'll be back to the old Killzone 2.
cmhsballer21
MGS4, LBP goty, Madden 10, and maybe some killzone 2
