Soon, the world will have another Tim Schafer game on shelves. After years in development and several "oh crap" moments regarding its future, Brutal Legend will become reality. Naturally, everyone is already thinking about what's next. At a recent roundtable interview session that Shacknews sat in on, Schafer addressed two obvious questions: Brutal Legend 2 and Psychonauts 2.
On whether Brutal Legend could get sequel…
"There's a lot of story. When I do a game, I usually do a lot of backstory and research and stuff. There was a big epic story that we were only able to tell a small part of. There's definitely more stories to tell in the world of Brutal Legend."
On whether a Psychonauts 2 could ever happen…
"That'd be awesome, wouldn't it? I think that would be awesome. I love that game and I would love to do something with it someday, but right now we're not working on that. If the fans keep talking about it, maybe it will happen."
Sounds like both are on the table. Any preference?

The only thing that i didn't like much about brutal legend is the fact that finding a multiplayer match against someone random was actually almost longer than waiting for your own brand new top of the line console the very hour it came out, yeah you had a long wait ahead of you and if you were unlucky enough you would end up being turned away empty handed.

i loved brutal legend, thought psychnauts was good but more than anything i would love to see another few characters, solos, factions, and more bloody epic things from a brutal legend 2, actually i have been such a fan of the series that i have practically came up with my own story for a sequil, lets just say it involves a lot of demons, a lot of blood and a whole crap load of heavy metal artists XD

YEA I WANT BOTH psychonauts was grate as was BL but if they do a 2nd BL Id like it a little longer plz :) outher then that PLZ I want BOTH 2 come out Id play it 4 sure

Brutal Legend is a good game the free roam is awesome, even the side missions are as good as the campaign. The way Tim Schafer left Brutal Legend makes you want to play more, yes there is dlc but that just puts extra stuff in like new outfits, new maps and new weapons for The Deuce. Personally i would like to see another Brutal Legend game but with the campaign longer because i completed Brutal Legend the first day i got it which was not what i was expecting, but as i said before the side missions were good and they kept me going. If Tim Schafer does make a second Brutal Legend I hope he uses Ozzy in the Motor Forge again because Ozzy is just so funny in there. As for Psychonauts I cannot say for i have not played it but i bet it is a good game.

BRUTAL LEGEND!!!! I need to see brutal legends 2! Brutal legends 1 was the best game i have ever played in my life. If they released a second, i would literally go crazy. I'm sure psychonauts is a good game, but i would much rather see brutal legend 2 and go on later to 3 and 4 even. In the trailer for brutal legends, it said it was a saga, and there for there needs to be more brutal legend!

Psychonauts is, hands-down, one of the best games I've played and if a sequel were to be made I would probably be happy for the rest of my life

I would much prefer a psychonauts 2 to a brutal legend 2. Brutal Legend was fun and all but psychonauts i amazing. A psychonauts with online play like brutal legend where you control diffirent characters and control some type of minions would be really cool. Tim Shafer listen to the people and do psychonauts 2 it must be done.
