If there was one game everyone was talking about at PAX 2009, it was Shank. The 2D HD beat 'em up had nearby PAX attendees mesmerized by its Aladdin-esque visuals. There's nothing else like it on the floor of PAX, which makes the studio's decision to show off the game -- a decision they weren't sure about until the crowds started flipping out for their game -- such an amazing one. If you are at PAX, go play Shank. If not, think about why you should!

I love the fact that there are more good old school side scroll action games coming out. This game looks GREAT and I can't wait to play it.

This game looks to be a prime example of how an old school genre can be revitalized to be something amazingly new and kick ass. Why does everybody keep referring to castle crashers with this game. What about old school 2D side scrollers (TMNT, Sonic, Ninja Gaiden)? HMMMMMMMM?

This game is the next Castle Crashers just more brutal. If only there were devastating limb hacking abilities. But depending on the multiplayer situation I am on the fence. This game will not be complete unless a buddy and me brutally stab Brocks, and Dantes in the stomach in perfect synchronization.

I was ignorant to think that this game was going to have the depth of a simple flash game. After seeing this gameplay trailer, I must say the game looks badass!
