I'm not sure if my post disappeared or what....

Blair, you said DC did their own version of Strange Tales. What was the name of it? I hope you're not referring to Wednesday Comics.

You mention that DC did something just like Marvel's Strange Tales. I'm loving Strange Tales and I'm wondering what the name of DC's version is. Any help?

Hey Blair (or should I say Ms. Butler) anyway. Thanks for the analysis of comics. I was really into them as a kid (subscribed to "The Flash" in the early 90s). Now I am getting into Graphic Novels (don't really like floppies anymore, I wait for the trades) Anyway, gotta a question about a new a comic, Mayhem. Can you review it and tell me what you think, please? (It is the one Tyrese (Gibson) is promoting. There are 2 issues so far.

    Thanks.

I want to hear more about my beloved Walking Dead series. I just can't remember being so involved with characters lives since I read The Stand by Stephen King, or the Dark Tower series. The Walking Dead focus' on the characters and that makes it so great. A soap opera with zombies!

Blair, could you review Marv Wolfman's Vigilante when #10 ships? I know this book is axed at #12 but IMO the title really began with #7 and deserves a lokk before dying.

Hey Blair in addition to the reviews i think you should talk about the $4 billion Disney take over of Marvel. Its o the forefront in my mind and im sure im not tthe only one who wants details on the deal which im sure you could dig up. Or just offer your view.

    Hey Blair,

I don't know if you have read them already but "The Red Star" has the most amazing art I have ever seen in my life. They do this crazy composite rendering of pencils and 3d art. The result is just astounding. The trades are kind of hard to find but I got them used off Amazon. Anyone who is into unique different art should check it out. The story is really cool too.

Great podcast Blair. Props on the intro you wrote for Pax Romana too. I really enjoyed it but felt it ended too early - could easily have been 6 issues to allow the story room to breathe. Would love to see more indie stuff and more comics outside of the big two. Anytime you've made suggestions (Adrian Tomine and Hickman spring to mind) you've been 100% right.

    Dear Blair

In the non forum troll-esk way of most people writing their posts i wont bother you with all the "wtf"s and "omg"s and go straight into the business here. I Love Fresh Ink I love it to death, I know it might be a bit late but what about the elephantmen comics? Those things are writing genius and the art in my eyes is beautiful Maybe just a quick look over at them. Ebony would be very happy. Or not. He is kind of a humanoid elephant ex killing machine. So you know. Who knows?

So I have a situation here. I'm looking at somewhere around 1200 issues of Batman and Spider-man and I fear for my sanity attempting to read all of those, especially the early issues from the 40's and 60's. That being said, I don't plan on reading them all. So what issue from each series would you recommend starting from, and if there are any particular issues are a "can't miss?"

I am not seeing this latest video on the iTunes feed. Please remember those of us who don't check this everyday. I love this webshow, I just choose to watch it on my iPod.

Awhile back Blair reviewed some comics put out by Dark Horse (or Image, not completely sure) that were like "pilot" issues once a week for a month. If Dark Horse got good feed back from the readers they would turn them into a series. I'm just curious if any of the those books got "picked up"?

    Also, great podcast like always.
