Beatles fans know Chris Carter as the host of Breakfast With The Beatles, the longest running Beatles radio show, which can now be heard nationwide via Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius Satellite Radio. Many rock fans know him as the bassist in Dramarama, whose 1985 smash hit "Anything, Anything (I'll Give You)" is still an alternative radio staple. So who better to give us a brief history of the Fab Four and chat about the impending impact of The Beatles: Rock Band (MTV Games / Electronic Arts)? Visit www.g4tv.com/brb to check out his interview and rundown of 11 choice Beatles cuts.
In fact, Chris not only gives us an overview of The Beatles and how they impacted music and pop culture, but takes us on a song-by-song journey of 11 of the band’s most important tunes, as heard in the upcoming game. Chris fills us in on everything you’d ever wanna know about the world’s greatest group, from the fab four’s earliest gigs as a pub band at The Cavern, to their monumental performances on The Ed Sullivan Show and teen-scream arena shows at Shea Stadium and the Budokan, to their groundbreaking days at Abbey Road Studios and their legendary final rooftop concert, Chris fills us in on everything you’d ever wanna know about the world’s greatest group.
Why are The Beatles so important? What tricks did they do in the studio to make such magical, timeless music? What were the band members going through personally during the sessions? What was going on in the world when this music was unleashed? Why did they stop performing live? Why does the music have such staying power? All this and more will be covered in great detail from the man many consider to be one of the foremost expert on The Beatles (and a damn fine musician in his own right too).
So enjoy this look at The Beatles: Rock Band and prepare to dig the Fab Four in ways you might not have ever expected. And to get your weekly Beatles fix, make sure to listen to Chris Carter on Breakfast With The Beatles on KLOS in Los Angeles, and on Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius Satellite Radio.
The Beatles: Rock Band will be released September 9, 2009 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii.

pfffffffff... I am very afraid of that... there is a certain group of persons i don't tolerate at ALL;does who say Help!, all you need is love, and a hard days night are the best Beatles songs. They claim that they love and know the Beatles, so why are this are there favorite songs? I'm 19, but I grew up with all of their records (both vinyls and CD versions) and still listen to them daily. I know the game didn't screw up at all The Beatles, i'm just afraid that this immense group of people don't screw it up :'( ... I really do :( .
I totally agree with you dude... but I'm still afraid and I bet that deep inside you are too.

Just finished all the videos. Lots of fun info there, though he doesn't say anything about the greatness that is Ticket to Ride. This is all getting me so excited, I hope I have that loan money in time to get a box set and the game.
I hope people will give the game a chance, and become fans. I find it silly to be afraid of something you like becoming popular and having all those "bandwagon posers" or whatever. I want to share my knowledge with newcomers, and I hope I'll get the chance.
