Take-Two Interactive isn't messing around in 2010. Even though the publisher has pushed a number of high-profile releases into next year, the company will apparently be rolling out these major games at an accelerated pace, according to Take-Two Interactive chairman Strauss Zelnick during a financial call with analysts this afternoon. Zelnick said Red Dead Redemption, BioShock 2, Mafia II and Max Payne 3 should all be released in the first half of 2010.
Zelnick did note that none of these games are expected to be released before the end of January, but if Take-Two is able to stick to its proposed schedule, the publisher would be delivering a major, triple A-billed video game almost each month in the first half of 2010.
That is, of course, assuming it can stick to that schedule.
"Sitting here today, we don't expect any changes to our release schedule," said Zelnick.
Do you believe them?

I can't believe their going to push all of these games out in the first half, hopefully, for one, I can get them all and also to play them heh. What I'm still skeptical of is the way the gameplay is on max payne 3 and the multiplayer in bioshock 2. Max Payne, from the picture, looks like Rainbow Six: Vegas in Brazil. The Bioshock 2 multiplayer to me, as I've seen most multiplayer games that are FP, it's going to end up like another of the COD series. Now, hopefully, that's not the issue and I can play without sitting in the lobby for hours trying to find one match. That and Max Payne will hopefully not take Rainbow Six's gameplay ideas.

I'm just going to wait and see when these games are released before i worry about buying them and playing them, but ..out of that short list im only thinking of playing bioshock 2 anyway, so i believe my pocket will stand the strain..which is good, because theres lots of other games the rest of the year i want to play (as long as they come out next year that is)

But its going to be doing that with all the other triple a titles that moved to the first quarter of 2010, not saying that is a bad thing, but my pocket is really going to be hurting after this years release of games not to mention I'd have to figure out some way to put in time for all of these titles

Max Payne 3? God, I haven't seen that game title since the old Xbox days. Hope there's no nightmarish Baby crying this time around.
