A lot of readers are clamoring for more information on Kingdom Hearts 3. Some readers are hot for more details on Final Fantasy Versus XIII. One reader idiotically asked why TheFeed hasn't asked Yoshinori Kitase about Versus XIII. Some of you will be getting your questions answered, as Square Enix director/designer/deity Tetsuya Nomura has revealed what the company will be showing off at Tokyo Game Show 2009. Andriasang has translated an interview with Famitsu that said:
"Additionally, Nomura said that Square Enix probably will not show new footage of titles that are further off, including Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, and The Third Birthday.
On a more positive note, Nomura's comments do appear to confirm playable FFXIII and Birth By Sleep at the show! Those two alone should make a trip to the Square Enix booth worthwhile."
Gamers waiting for the big Kingdom Hearts 3 announcement will have to wait a while longer. Players wanting to see more Versus XIII in action will be disappointed. The genius that wanted Versus XIII answers from Kitase needs to understand that it would have been moronic to throw those questions at him.
I know this isn't what some of you wanted to hear, but I'm totally down with FFXIII and Birth by Sleep at TGS. How do you guys feel? Excited? Disappointed? Meh?

I absolutely LOVE final fantasy! i remember my first time playing the series i was in 5th grade in the year 2000. Final Fantasy VIII it was... when i first started playing, i was like "WTH kinda' game is this?!?" but as I played an played i started to fall more and more for it... lol I remember being like halfway through the game an l started playing with the settings and realized that i could summon lmao! when i did, it totally blew me away... I've been playing ever since...
FF VII - Loved it! (played it too much and got worn out though)

FF IX - It was good...
FF X - Great! (my first time through)

I can't wait to play this game.... My FAVORITE battle system of ALL TIME would be Kingdom Hearts 2... as you can tell "button mashing" is perfection for me. FF versus 13 will have AWESOME characters with COMPLETELY COMPELLING AND ORIGINAL STORYLINE! BAD ASS BATTLE SYSTEM TOO??? IM ALL IN BEOTCHES!!!

why is this game taking so damn long to dovelope? probably because microsoft is throwing more money at them to dummy the game down to have it brought on the 360. And if you really think about it, how much money was thrown at square to dummy down Final Fantasy XIII? microsoft shelled out millions just to have an extra 500k in their pockets. what a bunch of idiots!

well, im kinda glad... i do wish they put a little more for versus, but other than that, they put a lot out there for ff13 and birth by sleep. im looking much more forward for those 2, and im too busy drooling to pay attention to 358/2 days or dissidia! the curiosity for those to has at least been helped, and now, square has set that traditional "anxiety" sequence on the fans, where they can't wait to see these titles and find out what the hells going on. (well, at least in my eyes) so, although i didn't get to see much about stella and noctis, (and the others, which i barely know ANYTHING about, and personally dont care for right now) im glad i got to see lightning, terra, ven, aqua and snow (man, elemental much? not to mention stella means stars in latin, and noctis means night)

Birth by Sleep is gonna be great. The battle system looks better than any other KH game. And the story also sounds better than any other KH game. And for everyone complaining saying this game will suck because its not KH3, BBS will have a secret ending in it like KH1 and KH2 and Nomura would not confirm or deny if it would be about KH3. So theres a good chance that it will be.

Damn, those graphics are absolutely beautiful. I'll be honest, Final Fantasy game play always pissed me off because I never felt like I was doing much but hell I may just play this one to how awesome the art of it is. (i know that sounds lame but hey, i'm an artist and a tech nerd, can you blame a girl.)

I'm fine with that. I am a pretty big Kingdom Hearts fan. I don't know why, but those games easily get me excited and I easily get into them. It could be the action oriented gameplay, could be the awesome story and characters, it could be the crossover glory, I don't know, but I love Kingdom Hearts and cannot wait for Birth by Sleep. I am very excited for it. And same goes for FFXIII. I am very excited for it, but maybe not on the level I am for KH

far as i can tell ffxIII Versus XIII have to different story lines that had to make something for ps3 fans to make them happy cant blame them Final Fantasy was one of ps and ps2 big big title games then they started to come out for xbox and 360 ps people lost some of the market on one of there top rpg's they wanted to show they still looking out for sony.

NOOOOOOOOOO.....ok this might not be so bad lets look at possible positives (if there are any.) They will be showing off FFXIII and Birth By Sleep, all I can hope at this point is that they are actually working on FFXIII Versus, and KHIII and aren't being lazy.
