LucasArts has released its second mission pack DLC for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the Tatooine Mission Pack. It’s available now on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network for $10 (800 Microsoft Points).
It’s hard to say whether the pack is worth the price, seeing as I haven’t played it, but considering that the pack will be included, along with the previous Jedi Temple Mission Pack and an exclusive Hoth-based mission, in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition, all for the grand total of $40, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to see this as a slightly questionable purchase.
On a side note, doesn’t it seem like LucasArts is basically punishing those gamers who bought Force Unleashed by including an exclusive mission in the Ultimate Sith Edition, as opposed to just releasing it as a third DLC pack? I mean, the only way gamers who picked up the game a year ago are going to be able to have the "complete" Force Unleashed experience is by throwing down $40 for what essentially amounts to a single DLC pack. Hopefully, LucasArts feels compelled to silence the million voices that will surely be crying by the time the game hits shelves later this year by offering the Hoth mission as a DLC pack on or around release day.
Anyone picked up the Tatooine pack? Am I the only one who thinks this whole Ultimate Sith Edition thing is a bit shady?

force uleashed was an awesome game first one u can use the force to such degree i have spent a lot of money on star wars from video games to costumes to movies, action figs but damn cmon lucas i need a damn brake funds runnin low these days. im definitly gonna buy old republic when it gets released cuz it worth it just not the stalker edition cuz it doesnt offer enough. i get u gotta make the ducketts but the fans is what got u there have a lil respect man. im a fan and always will be just make a complete game and sell it

The Tatooine pack is decent and fun but nothing amazing. I personally think it's beyond ridiculous that LucasArts is going to make the Hoth mission an exclusive to the Sith edition, forcing us to buy the Tatooine oneTWICE if we don't want to wait months to play them both. I will be very unhappy if it isn't offered as DLC by the release date.

I can understand the anger but to me this isn 't much different than a GOTY edition. Odds are good the Hoth level will be offered as dowloadable content eventually (probably around the release date).

Awesome now I have to buy force unleashed AGAIN in order to get all of the content? I really wanted to play this but I'm tempted to just say forget it. I mean come on making content exclusive to a new disc? isn't the point of DLC so you don't have to do that.....

TFU was a game that I loved from the earliest concepts and even the demo, was disappointed by once I finally got my hands on it, and since then it has slowly grown back on me. While it overall was a really good game (even though I hoped it would be more) I am having trouble with all of this. The new DLC looks awesome, but to pay $10 for it and not even get all the missions? I wouldn't mind throwing the 10 if youre going to include everything in it but to have me pay for it and then say "Sorry, you bought the game, both DLC's, but now you have to buy the game AGAIN to get everything" is just not how you treat your fans. For this reason alone, I'm going to hold off. I'd like to play this DLC someday, but I'm not going to encourage lucas arts to dump on their fans chests.
The sad thing is, they'll be getting my saved money from TOR so it's all pretty irrelevant. It's the principal, damn it

Meh this is why I can't stand Lucas ARTs.Their your typical greedy developer.On top of that their Star Wars games with the very strong exceptions to the Super Star Wars games that were on the SNES and the KOTOR series were nothing but meh games at best.The only thing I can say to the gamers out there that are upset about this don't buy.Send a message back to them and other developers that do these kinds of things as no justification of yor purchase.

that is kind of ewish though their making the hoth mission exclusive to those who buy the sith edition, of course i am cuz i don't own the original, that is weird though that they are doing that but thats how they've got to make money to make the games i guess. idk.

i loved swfu. i got the first expansion i didn't like how you have to start a new game to get to it. that makes me a little hesitant to pick this one up, but i sure did like flinging dudes around and electrocuting them to death. ah good times, good times.

sweet. i can't wait. course i don't think people realize how much star wars stuff they could make. theres so many alternate theory's on what could have happened that would have changed the entire series dramatically. i look forward to this though i can't wait.

Well, I do know that they added trophies to the PS3 version in update 2.00, and I bet that they wouldn't add $20 to make a pack that has one more piece of small dlc then if you bought the others individually. Either they have more than what we know about, or they'll drop the price really soon after the release.

I REALLY don't want to have to buy the game TWICE! maybe For better graphics physics and a real darth maul saber-staff but without all that, maybe only 700/800 MS points. either that or more char customization options
