Video Games Live, that traveling music and multimedia show that features the theme songs and tunes from well known video games, has announced 30 more show in its world tour, including a stop in Bejing. Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall's project has played to over half a million people since it started up in 2005, and CGL rocked every one of those people's faces clean off... In an orchestral way.
“Our goal and dream of successfully showcasing the video game industry and video game music to the masses has really taken off.” said game composer and VGL co-creator Tallarico. “The support and interest from around the world has been absolutely amazing and we’re really looking forward to continuing this for many years to come.”

Saw them live in Columbus, OH a few years back with my brother. WOW! Him and I were both music ed majors in college, and we always loved video game and movie soundtracks. This was a freakin dream come true for people like us, and it was good to know that there are many more out there with the same joy for music.
