Are you ready for a massive PlayStation Home content explosion? Because you might think you’re ready for a massive PlayStation Home content explosion, but in actuality you most certainly are not ready for a massive PlayStation Home content explosion. Well, I’ll assume you are ready for a massive…nah, just kidding.

Seriously though, Sony’s virtual play-land will be getting over 100 pieces of new content this Thursday (August 27th), so you might want to do some stretches or whatever it is one does in a situation like this. Killzone 2 fans will be getting some love in the form of the Visari Throne Room, based on Scolar Visari’s Palace from the end of Guerilla Games' acclaimed first-person shooter. There will also be a number of new Killzone-y items that you can use to decorate the space to your liking.

There will also be a brand new Post-Apocalyptic Apartment space that should offer the perfect getaway in between journey’s through the wastelands of Fallout 3. A furniture bundle will also be available for the space that should help you design the nightmarish safe house of your dreams. In total, there will around 70 items released for the space, which means no two hellish condos should look alike.

And for the fashion inclined, you’ll be able to pick up some new animated t-shirts, which will let users promote their favorite cities. There look to be other functions for them as well, so if rubbing your hometown love in everyone’s face isn’t your thing, it seems you’re in luck.

Just curious: how much time would you say you spend in Home? What are some of your favorite spaces, items, etc.?

Home is definitely missing something. I think what I get annoyed about is not being able to play the interactive games. I gave up trying to play that racing game in the ESPN area. Set up some kind of queue system. I'd prefer not to wait and stand there for who knows how long just to play a little game. It's a great idea and even better that it's free, but it's just missing something. Vague, I know, sorry.

Meh, I used home (and will continue when I get a new PS3 slim, bloody mate 'o' mine broke it) to screw around with buddies after school was done for the day. Yeah, I don't use phones that often :P.

I went on it appromimately two times. What they need to do is dump the XMB and make home the jumping off point for everything, then maybe I'll be interested. Right now its just a free game installed on the system, that you pay for eventually, with all the virtual junk. News Flash: Something Free is never truly Free, you always pay in the end.

I go on it around once a week if I'm lucky. It's a fun way to kill some time and possibly meet some cool people in the proces. I bowled with a girl across the frickin globe from me how cool is that. The FREE stuff is cool although I just can't bring myself to pay for fake stuff I mean it's not like i'lll become mr. popularity with a Ghostbusters themed apartment but I do admit it would be cool to have lol :D.

"It Bitter Be FREE Because Free Is Bitter Then Not Free!"

I've never been bitter about anything that was free, even the herpes. That was a fun night. Though I've never demanded that anything BETTER be free before either.

People can bash home all they want but at the end of the day it's still got great potential, sony is profiting from it, and its FREE. I myself will never buy fake things in home with my real money but I do get on it about once a week just to see whats new and maybe play some of the many casual mini games. For those of you who still think it's the same as when it launched you should check it out. It's stupid to bash something youre uneducated about. Theyve done quite a bit since then. My personal favorite was the xi quest.

Sweet, I just want that tree that is displayed in Radec academy. Looks like it's in the home space as well. Plus it looks like they added a cooler version of the helghan uniform.

i get on home every once in a while...maybe once a week to check out whats new, then relize i'm bored and log off. I was actually in the Home beta a few weeks before it opened for everyone and for some reason that was a lot more fun...i guess people were just more into it. other then that, i got really into the redbull air race for a while trying to perfect it and that was really fun, but nothing has held my attention since.

my suggestion to sony: make more of the content free. It would go along way if i had more clothing and apartment options, but i'm sorry, i'm not paying. also, include game launching in every game space. When home came out i denfended it with the following example. imagine going into the Killzone game space, getting into a chat with a few people and deciding to launch into a multiplayer game as a party with those people, then after your session being resent to the Home Killzone room to hangout, talk about the game, do something else etc. sounded really cool...but this is the experience Home needs to succeed. GAME INTERGRATION

Playstation Home is one of the only games that I play. I spent about 3 - 4 hours every day during the week playing, and on the weekends anywhere from 6 to 12 each day. I have also invested Hundreds of dollars into the items on Home. I plan to purchase most if not all of the content being released tomorrow too.

Wow! More crap I can pay real money for to decorate my "virtual" pad?!? Sign me up... :o| What an epic G.D. fail this thing was. Wait in line to play crap games, wait to see crappy resolution trailers or commercials. Pay out the f'in ahole to decorate my pretend dollhouse?!?! Keep it Sony, you need to try harder. I loves my PS3, but seriously, this HOME just sucks right now.
