By now, PlayStation 3 owners who picked up Terminal Reality’s long awaited Ghostbusters: The Video Game know all too well that the game look noticeably worse than the 360 version. The game’s developer, Terminal Reality, even admitted to Joystiq back in June that the PS3 version ran at about “75 percent the resolution of the 360 version.”
Well, the developers have heard your complaints, and gone ahead and released a patch for the game that should be available as we speak. According to Atari’s press release, the fixes include “an increase in resolution to match that of Xbox 360...along with numerous other localization fixes.”
On the multiplayer side, players in America and Europe will now be able to play together without issue, and the unlocking bugs with the Pay Day and Capture All Most Wanted Ghosts trophies have been addressed as well.
Any PS3 users had a chance to check out the game with the new patch applied? How noticeable are the differences?
