It has only been a month since Nintendo’s beach-side compilation game Wii Sports Resort was released in the United States, but Nintendo has managed to sell over 1 million copies of the Wii MotionPlus-fest during that time. The game has also surpassed the 1 million mark in Japan and Europe, which, if I've done my math correctly, means over 3 million copies of the game have been sold so far. Not too shabby.
More impressive though is that there are now over 2 million Wii MotionPlus accessories in the wild just in the US. This clearly proves how successful the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 bundle and the individual sales of the Wiimote add-on were leading up to the release of Wii Sports Resort, which also comes bundled with the attachment.
How many of you Wii users acquired your MotionPlus’ via bundle vs. individual purchase?
