Naughty Dog's action-adventure sequel Uncharted 2: Among Thieves promises to deliver one hell of a cinematic gaming experience. In fact, the latest trailer had me reaching for a tissue, and I'm not at all ashamed of it.
Anyway, G4tv.com's own Andrew Pfister attended a behind-closed-doors presentation over at GamesCom, and he was kind enough to send back his impressions of the very intriguing sequence demoed therein. Here’s a taste:
“In a Resident Evil-type "how did these people ever move from room to room?" situation, Drake leapt, climbed, swung, and fell through a series of obstacles ranging from the standard cliff walls (with conveniently located hand-holds), to a trio of giant bells (also with similar hand-holds), then a series of large gears that elevated and lowered Drake to his next challenge. Also, it contained my personal favorite, the pair of switches that must be pulled at the same time.”
