Table Tennis

Xbox Live's Games on Demand service has received a couple solid titles: Saints Row and Table Tennis.

Open-world criminal mischief simulator Saints Row is available in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, North America, Singapore and Taiwan while closed-world ping-pong simulation Table Tennis  is available in North America and Japan. Prices vary by region, but both games cost $29.99 in the U.S.

Both of these are solid (if old) titles for the 360, but I think there's a flaw in Microsoft's marketing strategy here. A quick perusal of Amazon.com reveals that Table Tennis will set you back about 10 bucks new, and about 5 bucks used. Where Saints Row will cost you about $16 new and less than $5 used.

I can't think of any earthly reason you'd pay nearly double the price for either of these games, unless, of course, you couldn't possibly wait another minute to Saints Row... Hey, but maybe I'm missing something here. Anyone want to enlighten me in our comment section? Any Xbox fans want to defend their console-of-choice?
