Sims 3

When the Sims 3's first expansion ("The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack") launches this fall, you'll be able to listen to Simlish versions of songs from recording artists Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott, Stefanie Heinzmann, Young Punx, Matt & Kim and more.

Sims 3 Expansion To Feature Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott, Stefanie Heinzmann, Young Punx,

Here's the just-announced list of songs for the game:

  • Nelly Furtado – “Manos al Aire”
  • Pixie Lott – “Mama Do”
  • Stefanie Heinzmann – “No One Can Change My Mind”
  • Matt & Kim – “Daylight”
  • Young Punx – “Juice and Gin”

Expect to hear more artists announced in the coming months.

I realize many of TheFeed's readers are not 13 year-old girls, and likely don't care about The Sims 3, but pretend you are for a sec, and tell us what you think about the soundtrack in our comment section. Oh, and if you're a fan of The Sims, and you're a grown-ass man, that's cool; we won't judge you, I swear.

@DesperoCarter: Gosh, thank you, I feel so similarly and even thought about reloading the Sims 2 because it was actually better. I hate not being able to put new lots wherever you want, it's so frustrating to see all that empty space and not be able to use it at all. Been playing since TS1 launched and it's kind of annoying that they wrecked so much of the core gameplay with this version.

I don't understand why anyone cares about the music in this game, it's such a background thing that doesn't add much of anything. Frankly, I turn off the sound because the music they use is mostly just annoying, and none more so than when they get pop stars to do it. Stop paying these "musicians" (most do not deserve that title) and put that money into making the game itself better, EA!!!

Not excited about this expansion at all. Sims 3 while introducing many new gameplay elements that made the game feel fresh removed so much that I wish I would have stayed with sims 2. I was hoping the new expansion allowed building lots and businesses or at least creating downtown dating lots , but we get to travel instead *not impressed*.

I won't lie, I tried the Sims 3 to see what had my wife so excited. The game really felt like pieces of it were missing. It's great that they are adding new songs to the mix but the core game still needs some content.

Aww man, when I saw the title saying SIms 3 expansion to feature Nelly Furtado I said to myself, hell yeah can wait to use the nude cheat, but then I kept reading and it only features the music...I'm sorry, but that's what I thought.

The only song I've listened to on that list is Daylight - Matt & Kim. "Simlish versions" of any song work I guess.
