The return of Earthworm Jim is nigh, gamers. Interplay has signed a deal with Gamelot to produce Earthworm Jim for Xbox Live Arcade, WiiWare, PlayStation Network and mobile (it's not specified whether this includes iPhone or not, but it probably does).
Details on what the companies are planning for ol' Jim are scant, however. In fact, I can't even tell you if it's a brand-new Earthworm Jim adventure or a graphical retooling of an old game (ala Prince of Persia). I should know more soon, though -- stay tuned!
Earthworm Jim is coming to all the aforementioned downloadable services in late 2009, but will have a one-month excusive run on Xbox Live Arcade.

Speaking of the oddworld games I just bought those not too long ago on ebay, but I paid like 40 bucks. Games were too pro.

If you liked the original EJ and Abe games, you can still buy them over at GOG.com: EJ 1, 2 and 3D Abe's Exoddus and Oddysee, all 6 - 10 bucks each.

Wow, another tarnished bought and paid for xbox exclusive... woo-hoo.... I'm really excited for the game but as a PS3 owner, now I can still have a month to play real exclusives like MGS1 and RE:DC... Much better than EJ

Puh-LASMA! Please say it's a graphical retooling of the original. The game was awesome enough when it first came out (top notch graphics for the time actually). It would be great for them to give it a modernized treatment ala Bionic Commando: Rearmed style.
