It's been almost a year since Media Molecule delivered LittleBigPlanet. There's been a dedicated set of users who seem to have nothing but create and experience LittleBigPlanet content since the launch, and as a love letter to them and to potentially hook in new PlayStation 3 owners, Sony's delivering a Game of the Year edition on September 8th.
The Game of the Year edition of LittleBigPlanet includes 18 levels hand picked by Media Molecule from the LittleBigPlanet community (each creator was also given the chance to design a new environment for the game), 7 costume and level packs free of charge and in select copies of the game, access to the ModNation Racers online beta.

Man, I've been thinking of picking this game up, and now I have a GotY edition with a possible modnation beta and game extras. GOing to be hard to turn down.
I wonder if the people whose levels are featured in the game are being compensated.

This game is okay but is nothing special in my opinion. And DPsx7 the Xbox 360 has a bigger library then the Ps3 so thats wrong and Halo 3 and Gears dont have auto aim so go play the game before you comment.

Ooh, i used to have LBP till a Dr. Pepper incident i don't want to discuss. Never bought another one. But come Sept. 8th, i'll have a GOTY one.
I'm still waiting for FO3 DLC and GOTY edition. Damnit Sony and Bethesda

Sounds good to me, but I was one of those who bought a copy of LBP when it came out at the end of last year, the whole X-Play endorsement sold me on it, as well as the big bonus I got to buy a bunch of games didn't hurt either. But that community is so wonderful and I can't wait to play more of it! Bring on the newcomers!
