Dragon Age: Origins is not one of the countless games moving out of 2009 and into 2010, but BioWare and Electronic Arts did reveal a small delay for the ambitious fantasy RPG. Previously scheduled for an October release, Dragon Age: Origins is now coming November 3.
In an interview with GameSpot, executive producer Mark Darrah discussed the reason BioWare was forced to push back their epic: the final layer of polish.
"It's just taking an extra couple of weeks to get through the finalization process," said Darrah. "We'll take any opportunity to spend a little bit more time making the game even better."
PlayStation 3 owners, however, still don't have a specific release date to look forward to. BioWare has promised the PS3 version will arrive sometime later in November. Darrah said BioWare is currently working on a concrete release date.
"That should be coming really soon," he explained. "What we can say right now is it's later in November.
