Even though BioShock 2 has been bumped out of 2009 and into 2010, 2K Games isn't showing any slip of confidence in 2K Marin, the studio charged with creating a follow-up to Ken Levine's beloved shooter. Speaking with 1UP, 2K Games president Christoph Hartmann confirmed 2K Marin is already well into development on a project to be released after BioShock 2.
"We already have plans, and [2K Marin] have worked far beyond the conceptual stage for a follow-up project after BioShock 2," said Hartmann. "What that is, I can't announce; I can't tell you obviously. But so far, they've completely exceeded my expectations."
2K Games has already announced plans to continue the BioShock series, provided BioShock 2 is a success. Whatever 2K Marin is working on, however, it doesn't sound like BioShock 3.
