The now-dead, Hollywood-focused Brash Entertainment's bankruptcy put a lot of video game and development studios' future in jeopardy. One game that was looking for a new home was an adaptation of Prison Break, the Fox thriller that was supposed to end after one season but somehow went on for five (and I watched every one for no good reason, thankyouverymuch). Deep Silver has announced that it's picked up the Prison Break game for release.
Given that Prison Break isn't on television anymore, the Zootfly-developed game must have been pretty far along for Deep Silver to pick up the tab. The press release for the announcement doesn't provide any details on a release timeline for Prison Break, but says the game, whose storyline runs parallel to the first season of the show, will be released on "next gen consoles" and the PC.
