PlayStation 3 users will have to wait a few weeks more to get their hands on the game, which is a bit unexpected since the game was originally scheduled to be released simultaneously across all platforms. BioWare has not commented on the reason for the PS3’s additional delay.
It will be interesting to see how the game does now that’s it being released even closer to three of the most anticipated games of the year: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin’s Creed II, and Left 4 Dead 2. Man, November officially just became ridiculous.
Will you be able to survive a few extra weeks before getting started on Dragon Age: Origins? Or are you bummed now that you will only have a week or so to sink in quality time with the game before ACII and MW2 are released?

Is it possible they knew they'd have to delay the PS3 version by a month and are delaying the other 2 a bit to make it more fair to PS3 owners? I wouldn't automatically jump to the conclusion that PS3 owners are getting the raw end of the deal--maybe Bioware is trying to make it more equal. ;)

Borderlands and Uncharted 2 in October. Now Dragon Age, joins games listed above in the main post makes the fall market absolutely ridiculous. I am going to cry to the heavens and say w00t!

A week to explore a massive, dark medieval-fantasy realm. I think I have decided to save this game until I am done with Assassin's Creed II and Modern Warfare 2, because there is no way I can completely explore Dragon Age: Origins in a week.

This is a game I want to play, but not a game I need to play. I'll own it, but not at launch

That's ok, as I have delayed the purchase.

My Wallet is going to be used and abused so much in that little bit of time its going to get a restraining order filed against me for batter. Not only for my gaming addiction but bills and Christmas shopping and food wow.
I can wait but I don't want too wait I want my gratification now not later :)

November's not that bad. The only other game I'll be picking up then is Assassin's Creed II on PS3.

yeah, if its a delay(supposedly they were going to be released on all platforms same time now its not) you should make it the same for all..but it seems more and more that the PS3 gets the raw end of the deal when it comes to things like this, even the delays cant be fair..

I don't mind a delay, but make it an equal delay. that sux.

This game is looking so great, but a week before MW2 is going to be tough!

I'll be able to survive but my damn wallet won't.
