I reported last week that Titan Studios and Sony were actively investigating rampant reports of lag and connection issues in the downloadable Fat Princess. A patch has since been issued, which Titan Studios claims to have solved most problems. The studio addressed the patch's release on their blog and promised more tweaks are coming.
"In future patches or updates, we will address other bugs and issues," said the developer. "Again, we wanted to get this out as fast as possible, and so changed only what we could safely and by last Monday afternoon. Down the road, we will address less common and less severe issues including: disappearing princesses, broken hat machines, migration issues, and the rank system. We may also address other features and balance issues."

I can FINALLY log into online games in a matter of seconds. Before this patch I would have to retry at least five times and wait minutes each time before i could actually play. The lag is now gone. That's right, no more snailon the bottom left-hand corner. Now I can sign into fat princess knowing I'll get a guaranteed game online on my first try.

I've still got a few problems. I can connect much easier but I have a hard time staying in games.

Before the patch I could not log into a game for awhile. But now after the patch I get into games really quickly and I also never experience any lag in games. So fat princess was well worth the buy.

The main thing is I can get into an online game without a 5 min wait and 6 or more tries. Since the patch I have been able to jump into a game the first time in less than 1 min.

I found a game first try, my only issue was when i used the catapult i went through a mountain and got stuck there. I had to sign out and play again, second try i played through with no issues. Great game

It's a lot better than what it was pre-patch. I barely wait to join games now, which was my major gripe with Fat Princess' online right next to sudden dropouts of the game. There are sill some pop-up problems in crowded areas but nothing that ruins my gameplay.
I'd definitely recommend this game now - most of the issues have been fixed.

I've been able to connect to games much, much better since the patch. It's playing great for me, no lag or anything.

It works really well for me! Unfortunatly there is still some game issues like the princess falling through the map. Other than that it's much better now!

I'm lag free. Maybe it has to do with the speed of your internet? IDK I havent had a problem with that yet. But not being able to login was pissing me off. GOOD job guys now i can log in really fast. Love ya keep it up

I still can't get into the game after I got the download patch. I bought this game on Friday and hadn't been able to connect online. I hope they fix this issue.

it was hard to get into a game b4 the patch, but now I dont have any problem getting into a game. There is still some lag issues, but not gamebreakin like say those games on XBL.

I'm on the fence for this one. It's the first PSN exculsive that I've acutally thought about buying. I may just wait until it is completely fixed before I dive in. I have enough other games to play at the moment.

I can actually connect to games and play online now, but i"m still experiencing a lot of hitches and lag.
