All the cards are stacked against Saw: The Video Game. The Saw movie franchise sucks butt. Saw: The Video Game was originally developed by Brash Entertainment, before being taken over by Zombie Studios, and games from Brash suck butt. Movie-tie in games always suck butt. Our own Brian Leahy played an early demo of Saw: The Video Game before E3, and Brian said it sucks butt. So when I was tasked with playing the game for this preview, I was steeled for an evening of all-out, epic suck-butt. Surprisingly, though, Saw: The Video Game doesn’t suck butt. It doesn’t suck anything… it’s actually kind of great.

While I disagree with your opinion about the Saw movie series, because I happen to like it and is the only movies of it's kind that I watch, I am happy that you are giving this game a shot and are coming away with at least some positivity.
My rule is also that movie based games suck, so we will see if my rental of this confirms it or not.

i only like saw cause if u buy the first one bundle it explains how it all really happen in real life. their was actually a real jigsaw.

i dont understand why people hate on SAW SOOOOOOO much. They arent works of art but they are decent flicks. I really think its one of those things that people just get caught up in hating something, which leads to countless amounts of people hating it for no reason other than others hating it. A bandwagon thing. I mean people complain that its rushed every year but the way I look at it is, look at all the high budget TV shows that make 15-20 hour long or more episodes a year and no one EVER considers those rushed even if they arent works of art either. just consider the saw movies to be a like TV show you can watch in theaters. Sure the saw movies have there faults but EVERYTHING in the entertainment industry has faults. If the movies can distract me even a little then as far as Im concerned they did their job. Im not expecting to be blown away, my expectations of the series was never to see a oscar worthy movie with deep characters and emotional involvement, it was just to be entertained. And i know people are gonna attack this post by saying they waste money on these flicks but honestly, there are many cheap ways to see a movie, all the way down to a buck and if your crafty enough, for free. its not a money thing. just because you lower your bar a little bit for entertainment doesnt mean you arent gonna enjoy the best of the best., so what really is the harm. I could probably name a ton of movies that are worse than the SAW series. ANYHOOO...i will give the game a chance and rent it. If I dont like it, okay, no worries, but Im not gonna skip it based on the ridiculous amounts of hate towards the series. Okay, I think ive made an "a" hole of myself enough for one post. after all, if you cant get on a soap box little from time to time on the internet, where can you these days?

K saw one was good then all down hill from there (suk butt) movies have proven to be a lame quick developed in less than a year video game! The sad decline of g4 has made me question everything they say. also g4 should stay game reviews because they get everything wrong with movie reviews( not dvduesday but everything else) idk if they really watch the movie or just go bye what other critics say. (examples saw,transformers2,jumper,so much more

WOW clearly I think the person writing this article SUCKS because clearly saw has proven to be a movie series that is paying for itself and then some. Saw has made it clear that if the movie does not pay for itself they will not make more. That has been there attitude since part 3. Well part 6 is due and clearly there are people who LOVE this series like myself. Maybe a reviewer shoudnt already have a negative attitude when trying to do an article on something. Clearly you are not the person to be doing this posting and should find yourself a new job. Bias is not in your MO
I myself am really looking forward to this game. My only complaint about Saw the game is the nose on the puppet looks horrible and WRONG

until i play it i cant stop thinking of this games exciting game play. "Press X to live, Press O and die," i press circle of course and the game reads "wrong choice, GAME OVER."
