So much to discuss this week. First, Aion released their second podcast this week, then World of Warcraft patch 3.2 dropped, and now the producers of Final Fantasy XIV are saying their game won't have leveling or XP. Wait...what? Did I just read that correctly? Hmmmm. We'll just have to wait and see on that one. But for now, press play and enjoy the genius that is The MMO Report.

You're trying too hard to be funny, and it's having a negative effect. It's one thing to bash games that are absolutely horrible, and another to nitpick at small amounts of information for a game that's not even in its beta stages. Whatever happened to unbiased commentary to let the people decide what they should or shouldn't check out?

He says FFXIV subscription fee of 15$ a month, but SE has not released any information on subscription information.

He claims people will be riding chocobos, yet SE said that Chocobos will return but will serve a new function.

It also seems like he really hasn't read up on FFXIV's weapon and job system. His "quote" can be found on almost any interview website and his speculation on what it will be like is kind of...premature don't you think?

I think he needs to do more homework on what he's reporting on.

Lol casey, do you even like MMO's anymore? You sounded thrilled about WoW and eve.

3.2 is good. All I do is pvp anyway and it just made it easier for me to obliterate noobs. Inc gladiator.

No problems with WOW or 3.2 here. I like the changes, the new quest log, item value and level, and many other things. With 3 80s, all with epic flight, I'm having tons of fun.

WoW never appealed to me I played it for a week or so and hated the look and feel of it so I dropped it like the bad habit it never was.

FFXIV seems a bit more like Drakengard than anything else from the way its being described where you hack and slash and grind with different weapons to level the skill and power of said weapons. So its a big old fat MEH for me for now.

EVE is a bore flat out and I have enough shooters of higher quality to deal with so that rules out Crime Craft.

AION seems promising but who knows really its too early to tell.

WoW was repetitive for me after about a year. There just seems to be a complete lack of imagination in the game and it's the same "kill 10 of these," "collect 10 of these," "go here and deliver this," "go there and deliver that" sort of quests.

I just started beta testing Dungeons & Dragons Online Unlimited. I'm sure we'll hear more about it in September on the MMO Report when it launches. I like it so far. It's a bit more challenging than WoW and doesn't seem as repetitive. Of course, after a year, I'll probably not want to see any more elves or dwarves for awhile.

    1st. Win.

I just recently quit WoW after player for 3 years. 3.2 just blows and the game, believe it or not, is repetitive at this point in my eyes.

Aion looks amazing... Reminds me of the days I played Guild Wars, except it's open world like a real MMO, and you can jump...

Bring on the WoW fanboy flames.
