Marvel vs. Capcom 2 knocks Battlefield 1943 out of the top spot on this week's list of top 10 Xbox Live Arcade purchases (data, of course, from Mr. Major Nelson). A fighting game that basically anyone can pick up and find enjoyment in, even if you're not tourney-tested, MvC2's got huge appeal. But I'm willing to bet Battlefield's got the longer legs.
Top 10 Arcade Titles (Full Versions Purchased)
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2
- Battlefield 1943
- 'Splosion Man
- Castle Crashers
- The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition
- Worms 2: Armageddon
- Magic: The Gathering -- Duels of the Planeswalkers
- UNO
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989 Classic Arcade
- Hasbro Family Game Night
Where do you think Turtles in Time: Re-Shelled is going to debut on next week's chart? Also, what's your preferred MvC2 team?

My Marvel vs Capcom 2 team is ....... (team 1) Thanos , Dr. Doom & Magneto or (team 2) Captain America , Cable & Iron Man . And before anyone asks me I have been playing Street Fighter only games and I'm tired of those characters , so for now I'm all Marvel all the time or till I get bored and want new teams . As for TMNT , after The Pit , Broken Steel , Point Lookout , MotherShip Zeta , Battlefield 1943 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 I'm done with Down Loadable games and saving my money for COD MW2 and Halo 3 ODST and Borderlands

My MVC2 teams has been a mixture of Shuma Gorath, B.B. Hood, Omega Red, Dr. Doom, and Jin Saotome, or as I affectionately call him, "The Jin"). They seem to work pretty well for me without the affect of being cheap. Until they come out with MVC3, I'll play this game forever.
gambitjuggalo

It's a shame Marvel vs Capcom pales in comparison to the original.
