Well, this is a surprise to no one: Wii Sports Resort is selling very, very well. So well, in fact, Nintendo's already issued a press release announcing Wii Sports Resort has sold more than 500,000 copies since its launch on July 26. That's just over a week and Nintendo has already moved half a million copies of the much anticipated sequel.

This game is the first Wii game I've bought in a year and man was it worth it. I don't care how basdd it looks, if you own own a Wii and don't buy this SHAME ON YOU. This game is like the original Wii Sports time 25 and then some.

I bought my copy the day it came out, and will never regret it. It is the most fun i've had with my family since the wii first came out and we all played wii tennis. And the wii motion plus is everything it is advertised and more. Completely worth the $20, but all wii owners should already have two, one from wii sports resort and one from tiger woods PGA tour 10

well i wuld like it but i hav a tendency to beat stuff quickly so i hope i can always hav fun going back to play it

I really want it and im trying too, but with all these other games like odst its hard to find the money too, especially with extra wii motion pluses you have to buy to play with anyone.

It's a lot of fun. It's also the first reason in a long time for me to use my Wii (other than for walkthroughs while playing games on the PS3).
If the next Zelda game incorporates WSR swordplay and archery it will be full of win.
BTW, this article totally fails to mention that this 500k is for the U.S. alone, not worldwide.

The first WiiSports was trash and I won't buy crap like this again. I'll wait and buy a worth while game to get wii motion plus.

no i haven't been meaning to but i want to save up a little more money before i shell out $49.99 plus 19.99 three times for motion plus, for my 3 addtional controllers.
