Nintendo is certainly feeling the Activision love this week. First, it was announced that developer n-Space is working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized for the DS. And now Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: World at War developer Treyarch will be releasing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a port of Infinity Ward's smash hit Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, for the Wii. Both titles will be released simultaneously with IW’s über-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 on November 10.
It’s hardly surprising news, given that Treyarch previously released Wii versions of Call of Duty 3 and World at War, but it’s still good to hear, especially for Wii owners who haven’t gotten around to checking out COD4 yet.
Any Wii owners out there who still haven’t played Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare?

I am happy that Activision has announced this but no affence its to late. I have a wii and have played cod4. But there is seriously no point on releasing cod4 for wii and not modernwarfare2. Hopefully they will make cod4 for wii better than cod5 for wii.

A lot of times wii shooters arent very good im hoping this will change that, im also hoping it will come out for ps2 for people like me who dont have a 360 or ps3.

this is pointless anybody who wants to play this game that bad probably already has played it on the xbox 360 or ps3, the wii has become a joke.

I only hope that they don't give it the crappy special treatment that they always give to the WII. Like with ghostbusters. Because all i have is a Wii so if treyarch screws up i will sell my WII

This is gonna suck because Treyarch is doing it... not because it is going to the wii... Treyarch always fails to follow up Infinity Ward, even though they try their hardest to replicate Infinity Wards controls... CoD3 and WaW sucked in comparison to 1, 2, and 4:MW... all imo

ive given up my dream for a working fps title on the wii.
im sticking to my 360 and im picking up halo odst and modern warfare 2
in the comming months. hopefully wii owners will pull their heads out of
their butts and buy a 360.

this tickles my funnybone. first person shooters on the wii generally suck. and as for "high definition" its virtually nonexistent on the wii. if youre lucky the gameplay might show a small infinitesimal glimpse of 480p. nothing more and way less. its gonna flop for the wii. luckily i have a 360

DONT DO ITTTTTTTTTT COD4 CANNOT TASTE THE SCUM OF THE WII. SUCKY GRAPHICS AND PROBABLY SUCKY GAMEPLAY WILL RUIN COD4. pleasseeeeeeeeee i realllllyyy dont want to see this follow through. if you want to play cod4 right get a REAL console. such as pc xbox or ps3. GOD

this may be good depends cause cod 5 on the wii was pretty dissipointing it was good but not that great it seemed like they just added things to it like oh we'll make a few bucks but they'll hopefully will learn from the mistake in the wii version of WAW and make a grade A wii shooter or grade B either one is fine with me as long as its good
