Jonathan Blow's indie, artsy puzzle/platformer Braid will soon be available on the PlayStation 3.
A listing appeared yesterday on the German game-rating website USK, which states that Braid will be published by Hothead games and will be playable on the PlayStation 3. No word yet on an exact release date. but Hothead confirmed with IGN that the game was, in fact, planned for the PS3.
Now out on the Xbox 360 and the PC, Braid received rave notices from both gamers and critics for its mixture of classic platforming and its unique, painterly art-style.
I was on the Braid-train since it was released (check out my interview with the game's creator, right here). I love the way one guy with a great idea could create a game that rivals the games from huge studios in terms of originality and wonder. What about you? Did you play this game? What did you think?

I bought this game for Steam... Truly amazing! Brilliant title! Depending on the price, I might buy it for PS3... Maybe. Either way, to all PS3 gamers, or people who haven't played this yet: Must-play!!! Though... Not for everyone...

I don't think microsoft ever paid them to keep it exclusive, its probably like valve or that developer from team ninja who just doesn't like the ps3. I guess the developer realized microsoft wasn't as nice as he thought...

This is definitely a good addition to Playstation. I thought this was already out for PSN but I guess developers are starting to realize that the PS3 is the right console to put their potential in. Keep them coming!

I tried Braid, didn't like it at all. Give it to me for free I'll play it, but I wasn't going to pay for it.
To all the PS3tards that love to think we care as much as you do, braid isn't exclusive to xbox anyways. it is on the computer as well. Also, I think everyone should get to play Castle Crashers, so I'm completely fine with it going to the PS3. Castle Crashers is one of the best games ever, enjoy.

This is great news for PS3 owners. This is probably my favorite XBLA game, even though it was a hair pulling experience at times.

hahaha first Castle Crashers now This, i'd trade FF14 for Bioshock, Braid, and Castle Crashers anytime. Now the xbox fanboys will act like they dont care, when on the inside we ALL know there crying, oh well there goes their only origional title ;-)

Great game it may be, but on Xbox live its too expensive for what you get.
But.. Most things on Live now are too expensive for what you get..

I won this on 1 vs. 100 as a mob member, and the hype is true. This game is a stunning tribute to Mario, and in addition to the art and music, the story is amazing. I wanted to kick myself in the balls for not buying it already. Everyone should play this
