Earlier today, TheFeed readers confirmed other reports I'd been reading around this here Internet that Fat Princess is having notable launch issues in the latency department. Many are experiencing lag while trying to play online, an issue Sony acknowledged to me this afternoon. Sony confirmed all parties involved are working on making this a non-issue soon, but did not disclose specifics.
"We are aware that some customers are experiencing connection issues and are working to address this asap," said a company spokesperson to me over e-mail. "If there are lag issues during a game, there will be a snail image in the lower left corner. It is advised that if this snail appears for more than 30 seconds, the player should try another game."
Let me know if Fat Princess' problems clear up over the weekend.

i just picked this up yesterday and it took at least 15 min to get in to a game and when i did get in a game it would stop for 30 sec and then i would die sony plz hurry I WANT CAKE!!!

it's a great game, when it's working, I wish they used a lobby system when you'd see a list of games and able to pick the one the has low latency and a good amount of players, not getting into a room with 4 people and lagged to hell.

Hardly a good point since I have played quite a few games on Xbox Live that needed to be patched and had server issues. Foremost in my mind was all the problems I experienced online with Gears of War 2, even a couple of months after it had been out it was still often times very laggy.

That is great to hear. I just started using PSN and starting it with a solid game like this is a great way to start it all off. But when i played it I didnt have Lag problems, at least nothing i noticed. Great game tho.

It simple, if it's a Playstation issue, let Playstation owners talk about it.

Never really tried PSN. My brother plays that. I mostly play 360, but I don't have the money for Live, so, yeah. Sucks for me.

Chill the F*@! out. This is a freaking PSN game. There aren't any betas. they make it, they put it out, and if there are problems, a patch is put out within a week. It's not that hard a concept.
Personally, for a game that's $20 or less, I'll deal with a couple of issues in the beginning if I know it's going to be worth it.
And as far as which is better, they both have pros and cons. Have you heard of the new game Rage coming out? It's 3 360 disks, and 1 PS3 disc. okay? So have fun with that. jeez.

Seriously... this is why paying for your live service is worth it... because then they can afford to test this stuff BEFORE launch. Xbox 360 wins again... SONY, get your stuff together guys...

I never had a single problem with the game online. Then again I port forwarded all of my PSN ports months ago.
