Are You Experiencing Massive Lag In Fat Princess?

You do not have to wait for Fat Princess any longer. She's here, available for download on the PlayStation Network right now. Early reports of online play in Fat Princess, however, have not been pretty. Gamers are describing online multiplayer experiences coming to a halt because of a substantial amount of lag. Are you having the same issues?

I've reached out to Sony, but I'd like to hear your experiences so far, too.

They need to fix this game quick! I want to continue playing but it takes me a good 10 min to find connect to a game. Ill get kicked back to the title screen at least 2-3 times. I also wish they didnt make the Gladiate mode so damn hard. I cant wait to see youtube videos of someone actually beating all 5 of them.

The only problem i've been having is joining games. Also, i can host for CoD4 but for some reason i can't host with FP. Nonetheless, i have gotten into a few games where each one lasts about 45 minutes of awesomeness. This game is one of my all time favorites.

Oh no! The PS3 fanboys are having trouble playing Fat Princess. If Flower starts acting up the Sony fanboys will riot. :(

i am flattered that trolls and their fat princess trolls love me enough to "place bets".

but really, i was just surprised at lag on the psn. some say it's unheard of!

Downloaded it as soon as I got home last night and the game is great. I highly recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor.

As for the lag issue, it took me 2 tries to get into a multiplayer gamer but once I was in, it was all smooth. There was some one second delay or two here or there but for the most part, it worked great for me.

Lag hasn't been bad for me just having issues connecting to games, takes about 10 tries before it finally connects, but when it does it runs like a dream.

oh and the priests drain is overpowered, it can suck your life away through walls.

I've played really fast matches with the full amount of players and at the same time I've played laggy matches where there were only 5 players.

Its not really the games fault so much as it is the people hosting having crappy connections.

No lag here. I would like to pick the game I join though. Great game played until 2am last night. I couldn't understand most of the people I was playing with though. I think they were French.

    @Iceman that's just FUNNY!!

Same as pretty much everyone above. Not too much lag but it takes too long to find a match

The game is really fun, but the online is hard especially when joining a game, but once i got to online play it was ok just a lil lil lil lag.

I was going to post a comment about how the online multiplayer was just as awful as it was in the beta, with no real lobby system, or any way of knowing the connection status for any of the games you jump into. Unfortunately, G4's profanity filter thinks that badmouthing the latency issues and lack of an interface is obscene in some way.

I haven't experienced lag of any kind. I am using a Verizon FIOS 20/5 mbps wired internet connection and I have port forwarded all necessary PSN and PSN game ports on my router. Maybe that's why I seem to quickly climb to the highest rank on the leaderboards for every match I play...

Played for a while last night, worked perfectly did not notice any lag at all. Tried to play this morning, could not join any games, then attempted to create my own game, would be constantly disconnected, tried creating a game at least 4 times before giving up.
