Cheats and Walkthroughs
Even though Mark Hamill (aka Luke Skywalker) has been a staple of the geek world for decades, it hasn't translated into becoming a good gamer, the actor admitted to my colleagues at FEARnet. Hamill was talking to FEARnet about his role in THQ's Darksiders: Wrath of War, an action adventure game involving the fabled four horsemen of the apocalypse.
"I do play games but I should play them in the dead of night when you don't have your children around to ridicule you," said Hammill. "Each generation that comes along just have a facility, it's almost engrained in their DNA. I'm a little bit behind the curve, but I love doing it, but like I said, there's a lot of pressure when people are watching!"
Who else suffers from, um, gamer performance anxiety?

I almost always fail more playing games when my girlfriend is watching me.

I hate When I trying to beat a game and some one is near all of a sudden distract me by watching my character every move

The only time it bothers me is when people are waiting behind you to play a demo or something at the store. I tend to think more about them than wtf I'm doing in the game. Other than that one instance I dont have a prob with people watching me. I actually like having people watch me otherwise, like when I beat The Mile High Club in COD4(on vet) three times in a row with 3 other guys(who couldn't beat it) watching. LOL!

Mark Hammil = God
Adam Sessler = Jesus

It's good he's actually keeping up with movies. He actually knows who Gollum is... most of the old movie stars don't.

I don't really mind, it's when people direct a comment or a question to you. It kinda throws you off because usually you're so into the game. People always do things at the worst times.

i never dug mark hamill as luke skywalker or as a visual actor but i think he is a great voice over actor. especially when he plays the joker. the old gen wolverine game..not so much

Was the (aka: Luke Skywalker) really necessary? If they're reading an article on G4 and they don't know who Mark Hamill is then they don't deserve to know!
kikook
I don't like when I'm doing something important and people watch me, only time I actually care.

I can relate, since I don't like ppl watching me playing games esp in the arcade when I'm still new playing the game. I don't want to get embarrassed getting killed by easy opponents in the arcade XD

I am a serious backseat gammer, so I understand what Hamill's talking about. I remember when I was a freshmen, and me and my college buddies were playing God of War for the first time. Whenever someone else was playing, we couldn't shut up telling the other person how to fight.

Brad Shoemaker?

Seeing him now makes me wonder how (if they did) they could pull off the next three Star Wars in the saga, how it's been rumored they would. Grampa Luke maybe?...
LucasFFXI
Yeah I would feel uncomfortable too if some random person keeps watching me play video games.

i suffer from gpa when playing guitar hero because i feel the need to perform. other games, i kick major arse.

I have gamer performance anxiety...
Skratchy
I like to play alone. I only enjoy playing multiplayer games with other people around. Not much for online play for that matter but, then again, I've been playing since the second gaming generation; loooooong before online play even existed.
nightsnipe
i think its when ppl are watching u, u try to do too much and end of foiling yourself
bigboi21
Yea, way to much pressure when you have someone critiquing your every move. I don't care if people watch me, but when i do something they don't like and they say sometin about it, thats when i get pissed. Then when they say they can do better then me in any game, i pop in a multiplayer game and kick their @$$, usually shuts em up...if not then i get out the old Punch-Out gloves and don't turn on the Wii
leakime
I actually perform better when people are watching me play videogames.
