If you’re excited about James Cameron’s ambitious tech-fest Avatar, but you don’t feel like waiting until the film hits theaters this December, then listen up.
Cameron confirmed during his Comic-Con 09 Avatar panel that he is planning to “take over as many IMAX theaters” as he can on August 21 in order to give eager moviegoers the chance to see 15 minutes of Avatar absolutely free!
TheFeed’s Stephen Johnson was lucky enough to be among the first to see the a solid chunk of the film in all of its 3D glory, and his mind was apparently thoroughly blown. Fortunately, you won’t have to wait too much longer to have your eyes melted as well.
