Cheats and Walkthroughs
If you’ve visited G4tv.com at all over the past very months, then chances are you know full well that Double Fine’s heavy-metal-themed action axe-fest Brutal Legend is the game I’m more looking forward to this year. Tim Schafer’s genius has been proven time and time again, and his latest effort is shaping up to be yet another pixel-by-pixel masterpiece.
We caught up with Mr. Schafer at Comic-Con 09 to get his thoughts on the game's development process, and one of the major points that he made was that while the game is certainly aimed at heavy-metal fans, non-metal-heads can expect an equally enjoyable experience from the game:
“For metal fans, I think you’ll see a lot of the things that make heavy-metal great in the game. You’ll see the crazy images from the album covers, the crazy stories from the lyrics, and the awesome music. If you don’t care about heavy-metal, I think you’ll like the humor of the game, the action of the game, the strategy elements, the art. It’s a great setting for any sort of game.”
Wait. Wait. Wait. Tim Schafer has developed an entertaining, humorous, artistically rich game that can be appreciated on multiple levels? Sure. I’ll believe that when I see it.
