Harmonix today revealed fifteen new tracks for upcoming music game The Beatles: Rock Band, as well as the venues where the tunes will be played. When this game comes out, I'm going to take a 6-month hiatus from all activity but playing The Beatles: Rock Band. Seriously, check this song-list out:

Every single one of these is my favorite song, and The Beatles: Rock Band is destined to be the best video game of all time when it drops on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii on September 9th, but I've heard rumors there are some people out there who don't actually like The Beatles. I'm not a huge Beatles fan. I like their songs some, but Elvis was definitely better and opened the door for rock music in America.

I like the Beatles. As a songwriter I even appreciate how great they were at crafting songs. The question is, do I want to play a music game with Beatles music?
Honestly while I love Rock music I wish RB or GH would feature more Blues, Funk, RnB, or even Jazz and Fusion. Yeah there are some bits out there, but I wish there was a major game relelase or a lot more DLC to cover those genres. The Rock thing is starting to get stale.

im not a fan of the beatles. i may have heard some of their songs in the past but not enough to get me to like em. but then again, all i listen is rap so that may have something to do with it. dj hero will be my guitar hero/rock band

I have looking forward to this game for awhile! I can't wait to get it! I think the people who say they don't like The Beatles are people who just never bothered to listen to their music or the lyrics. John, Paul and George were very enlightened and made you realize how great everyday life can be if you just open your eyes and mind.
Yeah, i know what i said pretty hippie-ish and i'll probably get trash talked for it but i don't mind.
