Earlier in the week, Guerrilla Games rolled out a pretty substantial patch for its kill-chirp-fest Killzone 2 that addressed a lot gameplay issues and fixed a laundry list of bugs. But really, the update was mainly to get players ready for the upcoming Napalm & Cordite map pack.
Well Killzone faithful, Guerrilla Games has announced that the stick-to-your-skin-hotness that is this map pack promises to be will be available for download starting July 23. Previous map packs cost $5.99, so there’s no reason to think this new one will be priced any different.
Anyone here planning on getting the new Killzone 2 map pack? Is $6 too pricey for this kind of DLC?

hey when you go to the movie theater it's 6 bucks for a coke so 6 bucks for a map pack is great.

Not to start a flame war, but I really haven't heard much about this game since its release. Like, I go to the gaming section of youtube and find tons of user made videos on Halo 3 and COD, but seldom any about Killzone.

ill defiantly be picking this up....i didnt get the first but i did end up picking up the second and those maps are pretty cool so im looking forward to this one... especially for the new weapons

It really seems like a great deal, if it's going to retail at that price. I'll definitely be getting this once it releases. These two new maps can be edited, right? (I remembered read it in one of the past posts)

i love how they are comparing it to halo 3. Well I would hope that the graphics are better, i mean halo 3 only came out like a year before killzone. Funny, they have to compare halo to everything just to make themselves feel good

having all 3 platforms does not make you immune to being a fanboy. I have a 360 in the house and i still hate it. I hate it even more because it recently started artifacting and flickering all over the screen. Now im just waiting for the thing the red ring....

just because a game has good graphics does not make it a good game look at gears of war 2 it is bad online play. I have killzone 2 but i much prefer to play Halo 3. no im not a fan boy, I have all 3 major platforms

no 6 bucks isnt pricey its actually cheaper than other dlc map packs like halo three.
you get 2 maps in killzone for 3 bucks each but in halo you would get each map for $3.33 since the halo dlc is $9.99.

That seems like a stupid way of adding new weapons in. People are just going to camp at those spots. I downloaded the first map pack but I was done after that. I still have alot of fun playing this game though.
