Throw on some shoulder pads, tape up those ankles and break out the bull hormones; it’s Madden NFL 10 time!...Ok. Well, it’s not exactly time yet. The game doesn’t come out until August 14, but EA has revealed that eager pigskinners (eww) will be able to get their hands on the official demo on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network starting July 30. The demo lets you play a quickie game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants beneath the lights on a snowy evening.
Of course, if you Madden-holics can't wait until the end of month, then you should know that if you preorder the game at GameStop, you’ll have access to an exclusive demo on July 23 that lets you play four, 5-minute quarters as either the Pittsburgh Steelers of the Arizona Cardinals. Well, aren't you special?
On that note: What do you think about this whole “gain exclusive access to content via preordering” thing that’s been cropping up more and more these days? Shouldn’t everyone who throws down cash for a game be entitled to the same amount of content? Discuss.
