Rockstar Games hasn't released many details about their impending Max Payne sequel and reboot, Max Payne 3, but we do know one thing: the original developers are excited to see it. Speaking with Joystiq, Remedy Entertainment, currently working with Microsoft on Alan Wake, showed genuine interest in Max's next adventure.
"We are really happy to see it's coming out and we're very anxious to see the Rockstar interpretation," said Remedy head of franchise development Oskari Häkkinen. "We always knew it would be done, now we are excited to see it."
Most gamers are probably excited to see it, too; we just need to see more.

talk about an old picture of max payne. game informer had him bald. tattered and uber pissed off. i'm excited for the next max payne but hopefully it'll be epic and very much more than the first. the second was way too short. i really hope there is no multiplayer like every effing gamer demands there to be for every game. most multiplayers are incredible insepid and take away from the game itself.

I really do love 47 (I have been replaying ALOT of Blood Money on my 360 the last 3 or 4 Weeks) I mean, I doubt he will since he is the first (and as of Blood Money, only) Class 1 (I think it's Class 1, Class one is the perfect clone right? Class 3 is the clones who are accelerated to adult hood and die within 18 months of maturity) Additionally I am glad to See the 'New Sam Fisher' isn't 'Hobo Sam' anymore. This new Sam looks much better
@everyone The Hitman Movie was Sub par from what I had hoped for (but not completely horrible, if you were able to 'ignore' the raping of a good storyline it was pretty good). Max Payne the movie was completely without a doubt, one of the worst 'mega' movies of it's year. Unlike Hitman, the movie Max Payne wasn't good even if you could get over the 'butcher and destruction' of Max Payne's Storyline. I actually hated the game 'Kane and Lynch' and took it to GameCrazy the same day I bought it. So hopefully the Movie is super awesome.
Anyway back to R* and Max Payne. I do like R* and what they've done with like GTA and their other games. However the 'Max Payne' I saw a short video on was not the Max Payne I know. It will take some getting use to.

I wonder if Agent 47 will go the way of Max Payne and Sam Fisher and forget to do his laundry and come back in Hitman 5 as an old, disheveled replica of what he used to be.
I just hope Rockstar's Max Payne lives up to what we gamers have come to expect from Rockstar: Near Perfection.

Everybody know that Rockstar is the great company and everybody know that Max Pain is a great franchise.
But when i saw that FAT, old, retarded Max Payne in the screenshots i thought that Rockstar don't understand this franchise and will make typical GTA episode.
I hope that the game will be awesome and they will make a decent Max Payne Story.
