Alan Wake PC Version Up In Air - Ball In Microsoft's Court, Not Remedy's

Alan Wake has been in development for a long time, but it looks like it might only be released on the Xbox 360. Remedy, the game's developer, explained the situation to BrightFalls.net:

"It is accurate that we are currently working exclusively on the Xbox360 version of Alan Wake. PC plans are currently open, and therefore it’s safe to say that at least a simultaneous launch with the Xbox version will not happen at this late stage. Remedy has a deep heritage in PC gaming and would love to see a PC version available to its PC followers, ultimately however this decision lies with [Microsoft Games Studio]."

We used to see Xbox and Xbox 360 games eventually find their way onto the PC (Halo 2, Gears of War), but that process seems to have stopped with those titles. No ports were made for Halo 3 or Gears of War 2. PC gamers, how do you feel about this?

Personally, I just want the game to actually be released at this point.

Plus 5 points for that statement lol! :) Seriously, I don't see MS taking sales of this game from the 360. On the other hand, the PC has a lot of GREAT games I wish were on a console. It is what it is at this point.
