Attention Left 4 Dead PC gamers: there is a custom campaign in development by a team of modders that are working on bringing the locations from the hilarious Shaun of the Dead to the game titled "Left 4 Winchester". Although, the latest update from the team is less than positive with one of the primary mappers thinking about leaving the project due to legal concerns.
The planned locations are:
- Shaun's Pad
- Mum's House
- Liz's Flat
- To the Winchester
- Survive the Winchester
To be clear, the team has not been threatened with legal action from what I can tell. It appears to just be the worry of putting time into maps only to have it stopped at a later point. Clearly, the only thing to do is get word to Simon Pegg and get his permission for work on this campaign to continue to be safe. Who's with me?

I would love to see this come to fruition, but at the same time I'm afraid the mod community could be taking a big hit. It's GREAT to see that G4 is definitely paying attention to the mod community, but I would like to see a little more underground work... for instance, Neotokyo just came out a couple weeks ago and I haven't even seen a post regarding that (it's a HL2 mod just in case you're wondering, www.neotokyohq.com if you're interested). Otherwise, I'd love to see some other great zombie movies thrown into the mix as well, MAYBE even some horror movies/games like Dead Space maybe?
