Attention Left 4 Dead PC gamers: there is a custom campaign in development by a team of modders that are working on bringing the locations from the hilarious Shaun of the Dead to the game titled "Left 4 Winchester". Although, the latest update from the team is less than positive with one of the primary mappers thinking about leaving the project due to legal concerns.
The planned locations are:
- Shaun's Pad
- Mum's House
- Liz's Flat
- To the Winchester
- Survive the Winchester
To be clear, the team has not been threatened with legal action from what I can tell. It appears to just be the worry of putting time into maps only to have it stopped at a later point. Clearly, the only thing to do is get word to Simon Pegg and get his permission for work on this campaign to continue to be safe. Who's with me?

Hopefully Steam puts the game for free like they did last time. Around the time that this comes out.

I have never played Left 4 Dead yet. I didn't know people could mod it like a couple of racing games. I had that happen to me. I think people link their 360s to a PC and screw everyone over. They should be banned unless they are out to help everybody. It looks innocinte until things look weird. Flying cars. Invisible cars knocking you off the road

this is the kind of thing the pc crowd has been trying to explain to the console crowd. were not bashing you were trying to help you get access to mods like this and all the rest of the benefits that come with owning a gaming pc. where can the next gen consoles really go from where they are? the next step is a pc basically.
Any how this was announced a while ago if your interested in this, check out the resident evil l4d maps rpd station and every thing lots of stuff in the works for l4d atm

why can't they put these kinds of maps for the 360 version it would be worth my money instead of buying garbage maps for halo or gears (yes i think the new maps for halo and gears are garbage)

I like when consoles don't get any mods, they should remain with the PC players who are always neglected by video game companies. PC gameing is good but there are few games coming out for consoel that are for PC, so i say good for us and consoles can bow down before us!
also i don't think there would be that many legal difficulties, they should be happy people are making a spoof off there movie

i totally agree with everybody who is saying to port the mods to the xbox 360 ( if its possible) bc i have a 360 and i would love to have l4d on my pc but its a piece of crap . : ( but i think if valve would pay for the dlc to be downloaded for free it would calm down the people who are mad about l4d2 and the modders would be happy as well to make some money and get their stuff out their but its just my opinion

i have an idea, how about valve releases this on xbl. in my mind that would solve all their problems. it would chill the people that wanted updates, it would get some money rolling in, it would make alot of people that havn't seen the movie( which is blasphemy) to go see it, and it would encourage modders knowing that they can make some money. kinda like xna, but for big boys and girls.
