Wolfenstein Delayed For Two Weeks

Sorry, Nazi-killers. You're going to have to wait a couple extra weeks to take out Der Fuhrer's minions in Wolfenstein. The first-person shooter's release date has been pushed back from August 4th to August 18th. All three versions of the game -- PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360-- will be delayed.

"In order to facilitate a simultaneous global release window for id Software's Wolfenstein, Activision has realigned the game's release date for the week beginning August 17th," Activision told Shacknews in a statement.

How excited for you about this title? I'm kind of interested in how supernatural powers are going to be integrated into the series, but a little nervous... that could get corny quickly. Also: Mecha-Hitler will not be the final boss! That's what I call a rip-off! Yes, it's ridiculous and it's completely tasteless to have a heavily armored head of the Third Reich lobbing grenades at people, but come on! This is a video game! It's okay to be totally tasteless if it means I get to mow down robo-Hitler!
