If you've played Nintendo's Wario Land: Shake It!, Namco Bandai's Tales of Vesperia, or seen Kill Bill: Vol. 1 ("The Origin of O-Ren" animated sequence), then you have been exposed to the ridiculous skills of the team over at the Japanese animation studio Production I.G. Well, it turns out that those talented artists will be bringing their brilliance to EA's hellish action title Dante's Inferno.
As AnimeNewsNetwork reports, the project was announced a while back, but it wasn't confirmed until Anime Expo 2009 this past weekend. Production I.G. will be teaming up with Film Roman for the project, the production company behind Dead Space: Downfall, the animated prequel to EA Redwood's previous gore-fest, Dead Space. Little is known about the project at this point, but the company promises to reveal more information at Comic-Con 2009 at the end of the month.
So if you want to find out more about this sure-to-be-rad movie, be sure to check back with G4 and G4tv.com during Comic-Con, because we'll be bringing you more coverage than you could possibly ever want or need. That's just the kind of people we are. You know, there are some who would accuse us of caring too much. (Sniffle)
