According to an interview with Nintendo Power, No More Heroes creator Goichi Suda wants Travis Touchdown in the next Super Smash Bros. game. "That’s why I’m working very hard to make this game as interesting as possible," Suda said. "Maybe in the future, we can see him fighting alongside Link in the next Smash Bros. [laughs] That would be great,"
I agree that Touchdown appearing in Smash Bros. would be pretty rad, but we were talking at TheFeed about characters we'd like to see in future Smash Bros. games, and here's our list:
- Geno from Super Mario RPG.
- Little Mac from Punch-Out.
- Master Chief from Halo
- Bimmy and Jimmy from Double Dragon III.
- Cooking Mama
- Ryu, from Street Fighter
- Nico Bellic, from GTA IV
- Simon Belmont,
- Billy Mays
- The Paddle from Pong,
- Monkey Island's Guybrush Threepwood
- Custer from Custer's Revenge (just for the finishing move).
- A Rabbid from Raving Rabbits
- The Baby from Imagine Babiez

If I wanted actual people from fighting games...I'd probably go play those fighting games..
but I totally agree on the sonic char bit...
I think Ratty would make a better Addition over Morgan and Adam...love them...but again...I think he'd fit better.

Travis and Simon Belmont are the only two I think deserve to be in the next game.

First of all, the only characters that should be added to a smash bros game are nintendo characters. Granted Snake and Sonic were special. Who I'd like to see:
1. Knuckles (can't have sonic and not knux!)
2. Shadow (could be an alternate color scheme of sonic)
3. Mr. Iwata! (are u kidding? how come no one else thought of this?)
4. Mega Man (not nintendo, but I think he's earned his place)
5. Main character from upcoming golden sun game on ds or old ones
6. main character from FF chrystal bearers?
7. Lastly, the best characters ever, Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb (They could beat down opponents with a wiimote and nunchuk, not to mention insults and constructive criticism!)

I think he shouldn't get an invite to super smash bros. (it would be cool) for wanting to make hmo for a different console cause they "did everything for the Wii". The Wii can be better then the others if the developers take pride and care of its games and make it work with the Wii.

Anything that has never been on a nintendo system (not including VC) will never make it. Bungie should make a halo wii/ds game (without Friend codes).

I would love Travis in the next SSB series. True that Travis may not be big as Snake and Sonic (Third Party Characters) but he still awesome. I wonder what his final smash would be? Maybe ROULETTE where he gets all 777 and does an instant KO. Sort of like Metaknights FS. Just a though.

I would lol if nintendo told him that he had to keep No More Heroes Wii bound then Travis would be a character in No More Heroes. They should also add the Smiths, they would work like pokemon trainer character.
