Peggle-mania has struck G4's offices, and, predictably, all productivity has ceased. Peggle-heads here are playing it on their work PCs, then driving home and playing Peggle on iPhones while they're on the highway. They arrive at their domiciles and fire up the Xbox for more Peggle. A trip to the bathroom demands Peggle for the DS. People play Peggle when they're in the middle of playing World of Warcraft. They play Peggle in their dreams at night. It's like a virus...and things are getting sicker. Popcap games has announced that it is giving away a World of Warcraft version of Peggle.
The WoW/Peggle mash-up is a stand-alone version of Peggle, that combines the sights, sounds and storyline of World of Warcraft with the rainbows and unicorns of Peggle. It features ten new levels featuring Bjorn the Unicorn and Splork facing off against denizens of Azeroth in scenes with names like “Too Soon, Executus” and “The Traitor King” – as well as ten new challenges with titles such as “Phat Lewtz” and “Pwnyxia.”
It's free. It's for PC. You can get it here. But seriously, do no succumb to Peggle sickness! You'll never, ever escape.
