Sony and Ubisoft don't need to comment on what happened on PCB Productions' website today. Earlier, the website of the audio production studio listed currently unannounced games like SOCOM 4, Syphon Filter 5 and Ghost Recon X as in-development video games PCB Productions was currently working on in various audio-related capacities. Those games are no longer listed.
Go ahead, look at the website for yourself. The listings have -- poof -- vanished.
I've reached out for comment, but don't expect anything back. The games were there and now they're not -- there was no reason to take them down if they didn't exist! Someone screwed up today.

If SOCOM 4 comes out as a true sequel (translation: produced/developed by Zipper), then many old school fans will have reason to rejoice, and it shouldn't be compared to Modern Warfare because it's a totally different kind of gameplay experience, I can't wait for more details, spoiler or not!

I thought it was common knowedge that the original socom developer (Zipper) was making a "full" version of the game whilst this one was released by a different developer(Slant Sicks)? I just bought confrontation on amazon for 12 bucks, i hope it's better than the demo was.
