For those of you looking for an early-early look at Valve’s next installment in the frenzied zombie slaying Left 4 Dead franchise, then you’re going to want to pre-order Left 4 Dead 2, if you haven't already. Speaking with Joystiq, Valve’s Doug Lombardi confirmed that a multiplayer demo of the game will be released for both the Xbox 360 and PC prior to the game’s November 17 release, but players who pre-order the game from select retailers (or Steam, obviously) will get to try out the demo before it becomes available to the general public.
While it would be a bit hypocritical if you try out the L4D2 demo after having signed that anti-L4D2 petition making the rounds, I wouldn’t blame you. The game looks rad, and with the prospect of even more L4D content on the horizon, fans of the franchise should have very little to complain about going forward.
On that note: Has anyone here signed the anti- Left 4 Dead 2 petition yet plan to check out the demo?
