The next week and half will be a joyous time for LucasArts fans. We just heard word that a collection of 10 classic LucasArts games will be available via Steam starting July 8; the long awaited Tales of Monkey Island, the follow up to the famed adventure series, will be released tomorrow, and the Secret of Monkey Island of Special Edition is coming July 15.
Yet for all the love that LucasArts fans will be enjoying over the coming weeks, PlayStation 3 owners looking to share in the retro celebration will have to get their fix somewhere else, since none of the upcoming titles are being released for Sony’s console, and it could be a while before they show up on the PS3 as well.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Monkey Island master David Grossman says that Telltale Games, the development studio behind the Tales of Monkey Island episodic content, has yet to get its game engine up and running on the PS3. However, Grossman isn’t ruling out the possibility of bring these and/or future titles to the PS3 and other consoles, because “They’re all good channels, so we like to spread the joy around a little bit.”
Still, it is a bit odd that Telltale hasn’t managed (or been compelled enough) to add PS3 support yet. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways for PS3 owners to enjoy these titles (PC being chief among them), so this whole thing will most likely pass quietly into the night without any fanboy outrage.

I stated my opinion and in response to it you demeaned it, by calling it stupid, and which infers that I am stupid. I fell this site more than other sites like Kotaku, 1up, Gametrailers, IGN, etc, is trying to promote the fanboy console war. I stated examples of things you guys have done that shows this behavior. Thats not stupid. So stop playing childish word games. You did this last time with the Sony IP thing in calling me naive in making my statement for more than what it is. Your speaking like an immature childish lawyer who doesnt want to take responsibility for what he says. Me on the otherhand have no problem standing by everything I have said to you in response.

Ah fandouches always find a way to brighten my day. G4 also has lots of articles about the iPhone so I guess Apple and AT&T sign the writer's of the Feed's paychecks as well huh? I also see tons of stories about things dealing with the internet, so I also guess Comcast signs their paychecks too... wait, what.

Wait, did I write this story? I'd love to hear what your definition of the word "bias" is, because I'm pretty sure you don't actually know what the word means. Also, you're a giant PS3 fanboy. As I've said every time you take 10 seconds to tap out a knee-jerk OMG LEAHY HATES DA PS3 post... you're the one with the bias.

It's not that G4 is biased more so than certain editors. For example, Brian Leahy is pretty much non-existant on this site until there is bad Sony and or PS3 news to report and then he'll rise from the ashes like the Pheonix and spew his anti Sony propaganda. Raymond Padilla and Patrick Klepick (hope I spelled that right) are the best two.

@RRODisBack Also to be clear, I got the RROD twice this year and wrote about the whole ordeal over four stories. I also like making fun of XBL avatar clothes. One of my first stories for the site was a rant on what a rip-off the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU is. I also picked a PSP game as my favorite of 2008. Yet geniuses come to the conclusion that Microsoft is paying me. If that were true, I'd own a condo instead of renting an apartment.
@Zmeeds I my compensation was tied into the number of comments then I would actually tell readers that they are stupid (even if they're not). As it is, some of them don't know the difference between saying their idea is stupid and saying they're stupid.

You guys are playing right into their hands. Controversy breeds popularity, and these guys (G4) love nothing better than to provide a place and the fuel for fanboy warfare. Who wins? the gamer that is getting all steamed over this crap, or the website and their advertisers who get all this repeat traffic of people coming back to read a fanboys dribble? My conspiracy theory: the writers are getting paid per response a'la soldier boy. RPad can ya Holla?!!!

I didnt say that the feed was biased. I asked some questions. And made a statement based on those questions. I personally think that G4 post things to flame on the fanboy console war. In doing this they encourage fbs to post ridiculous things, and then editors like Mr Padilla post comments to ridicule these very same comments that they encourage. If G4 wants to be critical of the FB flamewar, then they need to report stories in way that doesnt encourage this. Just look at the first post today where Steve reported a semi-non story and said "Here's some console-war flame-bait to get the week started right".

To intelligently answer your question. I read the source that you guys used. It specifically said "Why PC/Wii and not XBLA or PSN?...we've already got two other series currently running on XBLA...and our engine doesn't run on the Playstation yet, so the choice was easy."
If they are bringing it to XBLA then you need to put another source that says that. Its about being responsible and not just posting s@#t to make a story and stir up drama where there is none.

Does this Raymond Padilla guy work for the feed? Responding to his first post....A stupod accusation it is not. One game that was mentioned in this article is coming to Xbox, and that's a game that was revamped as a special edition. The new game is not on Xbox, why was that not in the title of this post? Why did it only mention that PS3 is not getting it? If the engine "Obviously works on XBLA", why isn't this article about how the newest release will not be on Xbox?
