Bloody-disgusting.com is reporting that a fourth film based on the Resident Evil videogame franchise is on the way.
Yes, word on the street is that Sony is looking to get the next RE flick out on September 17, 2010. Titled Resident Evil: Afterlife, it is said to take place in Tokyo, picking up where the last film let off.
Star Milla Jovovich is said to be on board as Alice once again. We can assume much bloodshed and zombie gore shall ensue…

i enjoyed the films, taken for what they were they werent bad..ok the powers of her were getting a little superpowered mutant universish..but theres still lots of material they can make a decent film out of..and tokyo does have a lot of people..scratch that..zombie fodder.

@sephiroth111111--damn straight they do. but how can they when it leads from where the last one ended. it'd be nice if the japanese creators of resident evil would do a remake but i'm sure it would probably end up like most japan shock films.
i'm certain they'll probably put ada wong in it or some other new character that never should've been associated with the movie representation of resident evil.
i only watched the last three films as a way to give my brain a vacation from thinking..lol

it could be worse, it could be made by Uwe Boll, and from a stand point the movies arent bad, i mea the Story of the First 4 Resident Evils sucked anyway (that includes 0) but the characters wee likeable, so it;s fun to see an adaptation with a decent story, but compared to other movies they arent the best

Omg they I can't believe this crap. She is a horrible actress and the movie basically just stop RE name and a little bit of the story line and characters and did there own thing. The last movie was absolutely horrible. The first one was OK at the best. But mainly they all suck.

Oh God, NO!!! I don't even see why they still call it Resident Evil, seeing as it doesn't have ANYthing to do with Resident Evil. It's just like how RE4 and 5 shouldn't be called Resident Evil.

I like every film, although the last one was less attractive then the first one. I still enjoy watching the RE characters come to life! I got high hopes for Wesker. Even thou Milla Jovovich (Alice) is getting outa hand with her powers, if you just enjoy the movie for what it is you will get more out of it.
