Firefox 3.5

Firefox 3.5 was downloaded around 5 million times during its first 24 hours of availability. This is impressive, but still doesn't match Firefox 3's number: 8 million.

According to one tracking firm, Firefox 3.5 now accounts for 2.5 of all browsers, which is more than Opera. Firefox as a whole is sitting up around 20-30% market share.

As I reported on Tuesday, Firefox 3.5 includes several improvements that make the browser render pages faster and load JavaScript more efficiently. Did you download Firefox 3.5?
