If you find yourself cruising around Big Surf Island in Criterion Games' blistering Burnout Paradise, and you're feeling a little tired of your current ride, then it's time to dig deep in the name of vehicular snobbery.
It turns out that the mysterious ninth unlockable car in the Big Surf Island pack is an exclusive Diamond Edition P12. And all you have to do to nab this most cherry of rides is complete every Online Freeburn Challenge in the retail game, as well as those in every subsequent add-on pack. For those counting at home, that's 500 challenges standing between you and the ultimate trophy ride.
For those dedicated players who manage to unlock the ultimate Burnout status symbol, congrats. I'm sure you'll do everything in your power to keep it in as mint condition as possible. If you're having trouble, I'm sure there will be plenty of other players out there willing to help you out.
Anyone out there gotten their hands on the elite vehicle? Thoughts?

Got it. It's ok. Not really what I was expecting for the hours I put in to get it. I wish we got something like a full stat car. Full speed, boost, and strength. That would have been so worth it.

Never really been hidden, was playing with a few friends first day and he got it after we finished the island challenges. Nice car, wheels look awesome. He said it's pretty much the P12 with a new paint job.

Nnnnot hidden. This was pretty known about. It's the ninth of nine Big Surf Island cars. I'm not wasting my time to get it. I still don't even have all freeburn challenges.
Though I'm glad they revealed it, I guess.
